Ohio State Buckeyes Pursue 4-Star DL Nate Kamba in Recruitment

The Ohio State Buckeyes are heavily involved in the recruitment of four-star defensive lineman Nate Kamba, who recently announced his commitment to Auburn. Kamba, a 6-foot-4, 290-pound prospect from Charlotte, North Carolina, was the first player to receive a scholarship offer from Ohio State back in January 2025. Throughout his recruitment, Kamba made three unofficial visits to Columbus, with his first official visit occurring on May 29. Despite the Buckeyes' early interest and their successful recruitment of other defensive prospects, they were unable to secure Kamba's commitment. The Buckeyes have been focusing on other defensive line targets, including the highly sought-after Marcus Fakatou, whom they hosted on the same day as Kamba's visit. As the 2027 recruiting cycle progresses, Ohio State continues to prioritize building a strong defensive line, looking to add key players to bolster their roster for future seasons.
