Ohio State Buckeyes have landed a commitment from Caden Moss, a 4-star offensive tackle from Jackson Academy.
The 6-foot-5, 320-pound Moss announced his decision on Instagram Live after visiting Ohio State and Ole Miss.
Moss chose the Buckeyes over other finalists, including Kentucky, Louisiana State, Oregon, and Tennessee.
He is ranked as the No. 3 player in Mississippi and the No. 7 offensive lineman in the 2027 class.
This commitment is a significant win for the Buckeyes, who have not signed a top-100 offensive lineman from outside Ohio since Donovan Jackson in 2021.
Moss's addition strengthens the team's recruiting class and provides a boost to their offense.
The Buckeyes' next game is against the Ball State Cardinals on September 5, 2026.
Moss will join the Buckeyes for the 2027 season, bringing his skills as a dominant offensive lineman to the team.
He was also selected for the Under Armour All-America Game and Polynesian Bowl as an underclassman.
Moss helped Jackson Academy win an MAIS 4A-Division I championship last season, capping off a year with an 11-1 record.
He also played basketball for the Raiders, averaging 5.6 points and 5.1 rebounds per game during his junior season.
